I’m not a golfer.
But I do appreciate the effort it must take just to be in contention for a Major on the final day. Thousands and thousands of hours of practice over decades just to have a shot at sinking a 3-footer and getting in one stroke ahead after 72 holes.
I think the business world is divided into two camps: people who try and perfect their craft, and others that simply clock in and out of work every day waiting for the golden handshake at the end of it all.
I recently heard Scottie Scheffler (major winner and routinely ranked golf’s No. 1) say that he doesn’t need external motivation; he just likes to practice and perfect his craft.
That rings absolutely true to me.
At Crisp Solutions, we only employ people who like to get better at their craft. And we only partner with marketers who treat their work like artists.
The reason is simple. When your business model is built on taking the risk and backing the outcome, you cannot afford guesswork or clock-punchers.
If money is your only motivation, eventually you reach a point where your house is full of fancy things and your wine cellar boasts expensive brands nobody has heard of. What then is your motivation?
Only more money.
But if you wake up every morning and hand yourself over to the muse in pursuit of creating something beautiful and perfecting your craft, you will become a master. Perhaps you will have loads of money. But even if you don’t, your heart will be full and your desire will burn bright.
This same standard of excellence is what we bring to every lead we touch/policy we sell.
We are on a mission to match every South African with the right insurance policy.
That’s our why.
